A great value. And the concertos are wonderful, too. This is my favorite version of Vivaldi's Four Seasons. I never tire of listening to it.

I will look for better sound recording CD now. I bought it BRAND NEW, and hear the sound quality was not crystal clear as I would have wanted.
The concertos are also nice to have. I am a casual classical fan and I enjoy this CD alot. I do not recall whether I heard them all before, but they are a pleasant bonus to the Four Seasons. I have always enjoyed The Four Seasons and this is a good version of the Vivaldi work. Itzhak Perlman brings his own interpretation to the work and it really is special in how he performs.
Also included are three more of Vivaldi's violin concertos, which shouldn't be missed. This recording of Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" with Itzhak Perlman at the violin is absolutely amazing. The tempos are not too fast, but not too slow, and Perlman plays with perfection and attention to detail.
